Buxton
Buxton is band from Houston, TX with two acoustic guitars and a bass.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Started in mid 2003 and have been playing ever since.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we do play live. We enjoy it very much so. We play at open mics, concert venues, coffee shops, anywhere.
Your musical influences
Bright Eyes, Elliott Smith, Pedro the Lion, Simon and Garfunkl, Iron and Wine, Acoustic, Indie, Mellow
What equipment do you use?
Marshall, Fender, and Ampeg amplifiers with Olympia and Martin guitars and a Warwick bass. For some songs a Yamaha keyboard is used and a Zoom effects pedal for delay and echos.
