DELAWARES OWN BUTTER B IS TAKING HIP-HOP BACK TO BASICS WITH HIS VERSATILE LYRICAL WORDPLAY AND CINEMATIC STORY LINES

Butter is a 23-year old Delaware native.

Butter has always had a passion for music ever since he was small. His powerful production sound comes from his mother listing to influential artists like: Tina Marie, Rick James, Luther Vandross, Earth, Wind and Fire and Stephanie Mills. When it comes to hip-hop Butter is definitely the golden child. He has hip-hop running through his veins. He lives, breathes, and sleeps hip-hop. When Butter was little his older brother was road manger for artists like, Biz Marckie, Tribe Called Quest, Big Daddy Kane, Brand Nubian, and De La Soul. Butter would be around the studio with these pioneers of hip hop gaining core knowledge of the true essence of hip hop which can be heard in any Butter B track today. Butter is truly a superb rapper and entertainer. His skills alone on the microphone speaks for itself leaving crowds screaming for more.

When Butter was only 8 years old he wrote his first rhymes. He started rapping at the tender age of 9-years old. He fell in love with hip-hop at an early age. At age 14, he began producing, mixing and engineering his own music. Throughout his middle school years he made “secret rap tapes” and played them amongst his peers. It wasn’t until ninth grade he earned a reputation for leaving older competition speechless. In ninth grade a childhood friend and now business partner “DL” came to Butter with a computer generated beat program, allowing Butter to rap over beats that DL produced. After recording 20 songs, and dubbing 50 tapes, He drew up a cover and sold it through out his high school for $8.00. By the time he graduated he had four albums under his belt.

After graduating high school Butter stepped up his game ten fold as a rapper and entertainer. Butter produced his “What’s Bubblin” compilation which features other Team-Vill artist and his master piece, “Bezo 4 King”. Today Butter is receiving heavy rotation on Delawares local radio station 101.7 KISS FM with his hit “100% Butter”. The song has the crowds going wild. He is founder and C.E.O of Team-Vill Entertainment. Under his label he has several albums. “The Key Ingredient” in 1999, “The World Everybody and Me” in 2000, “The Chuck Bezo Experience” in 2003, “Bezo 4 King” in 2004, “Total Package” in 2005 and “Total Package” 2 (Back to Basics) in 2007. Butter has done many shows around Delaware including: Delaware State University, Day in the park in Salisbury, Maryland, Day in the park in Smyrna, Delaware, Schwartz Theater, and Extreme Night Club just to name a few.

In today’s music industry you have two types of people. You have those who are in it just to get rich and the ones who do it for the love of music that’s Butter in it for the love of hip-hop. He is an ordinary, down to earth type of guy. He has a God given talent that he cultivated and perfected to become not only a rapper but an entertainer. Butter’s main goal is to just make good music for the world to hear by staying true to him self and making what comes natural to him. His love for hip-hop music has gotten him where he is today, receiving love from his peers and other well known rappers and entertainers in the music industry.
