BurnYouBeautiful is a powerhouse emo/hardcore influenced band consisting of four members. Each of the members brings an original sound and style to the band to make a unique blend of genres in each song.

Started in the fall of 2003 by founding members Josh Overley (guitar) and Evan Price (drums/vocals), they were later joined with Kevin Riordan (guitar) and Tim Boughy (bass), They became a full instrumental rock band, but they needed a vocalist. They began writing songs together and playing with friends for fun. Further down the road, however, everyone had reached a common decision that Kevin was no longer meeting the fulfillments of what this band needed, so BYB split ways with the guitarist. BYB continued to play and write while in search for a new guitarist and vocalist. In the spring of 2004, Chance Strickland (guitar/vocals) joined the group to complete the 4 piece sound this band needed. As a complete band, BYB began booking and playing shows and recording bits for the upcoming demo.
