Burg

Yo the name is Iceburg aka Da Kid. My flow is a combination of different styles. Depending on my mood, is what kind of rhyme you'll get out of me. My trademark is saying Iceburg C'Mon! My first recording was a freestyle and I said it and it kinda stuck with me. If I don't say it sometime in the song, then it's not done right. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my tracks and I look forward to your comments.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been rhymin for about five years now. I just happened to stumble upon this gift by accident. There was this one dude that used to rank on people all the time at the lunch room tables. One day he started comin at me and I was like dude chill out. So I started flowin and everybody liked it. So I've been perfecting my skills ever since.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've rapped a few places before. It was ok. Only thing that I didn't like was I had to freestyle for the people. It wasnt like I could perform my own music; I just went off the top of the head.
Your musical influences
Some of my musical influences include: Lloyd Banks, Notorious B.I.G., Nelly, Ludacris, and other artists. Lloyd Banks is like a metaphorical genius. I want people to be like damn that line made me think a little bit. I try to throw a lot of metaphors that nobody would ever think of. Biggie was just a master at what he did. Everytime he spit, people listened. I want people to want to listen to Da Kid when I spit. Nelly had everybody out of their seats with the way he rhymed. If I can throw my stlye on a track to make you bounce then I've done my job. Those are the most influentual artists in my mind. They have they own unique style of keeping the crowd movin.
What equipment do you use?
Whatever my nigga Alkatrez use. He put me on the studio.
Anything else?
Shout-outs go out to GOD most definately. He gave me all the skills that I have. Next goes to the most important in my life my Mom. I wouldn't be this real if it wasn't for the stuff that Me and her went through. The rest of my family for supportin the fact that I rhyme and not tryna get me to stop. My Scout Team niggas: Trez for puttin up on this rap thang. The delivery techniques he taught me has helped my flow tremendously. Good lookin my nigga! SikWitit for startin my recordin in his room and helpin me get used to the mic.B-Hop, C-Dot, for havin my back in whatever shit that go down. Tell them niggas do what u do. All my SCSU Football teammates that be feelin my music. Nice lookin fellas! To all the hatas out there, appreciate the "Love" ya'll give me. It keeps me on my toes and keeps my lines cuttin like razor blades. Also to my current fans and to my future fans I appreciate the support and encouragement. No doubt. Holla Back at ya Muthafuckin Boi, Iceburg C'mon!
