BumbleBeets (http://bumblebeets.com) is a brand new subsidiary of my production facility BumbleFunk Music (http://www.bumblefunk.com). BumbleBeets will bring you great crossover beats to suit every mood. Our musically enlightened staff adds nuances not usually found in many lower quality beats (chords, changes, orchestration) taking your beats to the pro level. BumbleBeets has a simple method for you to obtain either non-exclusive or exclusive rights to any beat in our library. Visit our website for more details. We will post samples here to keep you updated and seduce you to visit our site! Write to info@bumblebeets.com for info! Peaceout Eric
Band/artist history
Here is the story of BumbleFunk. I was raised in Hollywood CA. I went to Hollywood High School and then to UCLA before moving north to Berkeley for 3 years in the 80s. The point is that as far as I knew in my mid-20s, places like Iowa only existed in books and movies. Then I moved to Iowa and discovered the beauty of the mid-west. I know I am not the first person to figure this out, but the mid-west can be an awesome place with endless fields, rolling hills and pastures, and NO SMOG OR CRIME (ok. some smog and crime, but nothing compared to LA). All said, the years in Iowa have been great for my kids and me. Unfortunately, as always, there is a down side (that inescapable yin/yang thing): I miss the beach, it is freaking cold in the winter and, bummer, the music scene is not exactly "happening" in the grand sense of the word. There is plenty of good music and some fine musicians, but the whole industry/community seems to be loosely tethered and, more to the point, the level of ambition is a fraction of that I experienced in Hollywood. Of course, there have been some incredible mid-west success stories, but the general level seems to be a little too complacent for me. Hence the birth of BumbleFunk a venue for great music with an unbeatable business plan (no up front cost just a success based downstream royalty). BumbleBeets was spawned form the need for many of my artists to find beats that would suit their various rapping styles. We have a dedicated beat machine and some serious talent to make the beats you will find here and at http://www.bumblebeets.com. Give us a try!
