Buddy (The Producer)

I'm an 19 year old producer hoping to be discovered. I was born and raised in Detroit and I am currently located in Belleville, Michigan. I have been in band since the 3rd grade and have continued to pursue my dream of making music. In school I've played the Trumpet, Drums, Trombone, Clarinet, Baritone, and the recorder. Later on in my life I taught myself to play the keyboard, I can't read the music however but I can play a tune that I may have in my head. I really want to produce all types of tracks from hip hop to R&B. Music is my passion but I am not going to school for music though. I am attending college studying Electrical Engineering. I hope that I can maintain the grades I have received throughout school. I was awarded, highest honors throughout my education, I was awarded a plaque for being in Concert Band all four years of high school, I maintained a spot on the honor roll and had a grade point average of 3.5556, and I took advanced classes in school also. SO... as you can see I'm not dropping everything for music, because I don't want to live in a dream all my life and end up with nothing. I use Reason 3.0 to make my beats and I use Recycle 2.1 as a sampler for the instrumentals. I also use Audacity, and Acid for mastering. And my equipment is a Emachines computer, A Yamaha YPT-400 Keyboard and a Numark Turntable. No, I used to be in band and used to play trumpet live but not anymore.

J-Dilla, Ludacris, Lupe Fiasco, Swiff D, Hi-Tek, Just Blaze, Kanye West, Jermaine Dupri, OutKast, Timbaland, The Neptunes, Jay-Z, Nas, and living life is the biggest influence because I can see everything as music and make a song from the smallest thing.

I use Reason 3.0 to make my beats and I use Recycle 2.1 as a sampler for the instrumentals. Audacity sometimes fir recording but mostly Acid Pro 6.0. I also you a Yamaha YPT-400.

I just hope you guys enjoy the music and hopefully one day I'll be out in the world really letting everyone hear my music.
