Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Terry Turtle's been rocking out around town for years and years. he's basically lived a rock n roll lifestyle comparable to the greats without ever getting any recognition. So if you can imagine Jim Morrison or Robert Plant except w/o any money or fame.
So yeah, Turtle's history is unbelievable. The band formed from my desire to recreate one of his old projects, the Blacks Run Goats, with the other surviving member. But when i was informed about how impossible that would be we just decided to make our own group and work it out.
It's better this way, really.
So we gigged around for a few months and then hunkered down and cut a record, "What Da Hell? Check that shit out if you're alive.
In July 2006 we recorded an album in the time it takes to listen to it at Inner Ear Studio with Hugh Mcelroy at the control board as part of the DC Free Recording Project.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play as live as we can as much as we can as far or as near as we can get.
