Bubble Wrap
Bubble Wrap are a punk/rock band from Quakers Hill in the Western area of Sydney Australia. They have a demo out featuring 5 original songs and have many more for future recordings.
Bubble Wrap hope to make a difference with their music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Bubble Wrap was formed on the 8th of December, 2002 when the members began playing covers and song writing to form their own creative outlet.
In the beginning, the band consisted of a vocalist, bass player, drummer and guitarist. It wasnt long before the band realised that the songs they were playing sounded better with a second guitarist; they found this in Gene Chamberlain.
So, with a full outfit, Bubble Wrap set out to play gigs in late 2002, throughout 2003 and beyond.
Heading into early 2003 Bubble Wraps lead guitarist, Ryan Grantham decided to leave the band due to time constraints caused by other commitments.
Adam Rogers a long time friend of the Bubble Wrap boys stepped up for the job and Bubble Wrap was reborn with one guitarist saying goodbye and an old friend being welcomed as the bands new rhythm guitarist.
Today Bubble Wrap consists of members Ryan Haigh (vocals), Gene Chamberlain (lead guitarist/ vocals), Adam Rogers (rhythm guitarist/ vocals), Timothy Renshall (Bass Guitarist) and Mark Scott (Drums).
Bubble Wraps style of music is a unique brand of punk rock, which has come to be known as Punk N Roll and their wide range of songs demonstrates this well.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
