My name is Johnny Stenger. I started playing music when I was 14 years old. I started into music singing a groove metal band called Flatline with a group of childhood friends of which I am still friends with today. I decided that I wanted to learn an instrument and bought a Schaefer bass and a practice amp for $40.00 from a girl down the street from me. the strings on this bass were literally about 4" off of the neck but for $40 it was the best thing ever to me. Once I had that under my belt, I upgraded, then upgraded again. The, I finally decided to buy a guitar and amp. I saved up my money from an after school stockboy job. I bought an Ibanez 7 string even though I only used 6 but, the neck was comparible to the bass that I had lol! So with all of that being said, That's when music really grabbed me. I was a music Junky! I played in a couple of other metal bands and then the inevidible. Everyone started going their separate ways. I took a break for about 3 years. After that suicide was over. I had met my wife and started playing and singing again. I started a studio called Stenger Sound Source which I still run today. I started focusing on songwriting. I had all the tools to do it and, that is what got me here. I had never released any of my solo stuff ever. I entered the song "One More Night" into a competition for NASH FM. It got good reviews. I didn't advance in the contest but, it was enough motivation to release the song and, make me want to do more. I wrote, composed, performed every instrument, and mixed it myself. It was a valentine's Day present for my wife. Which went very well also!! It was enough to make me want to get my music out. I'm not in it for money although that is a benefit but, I do it because I love doing it. I work a full time job and have a family. I fit it in whenever I can because I love it!! So in conclusion, that is my story in a nutshell! The rest will come out in the music because evry song has a story to tell!! I hope you enjoy my music and thank you!!

Thomas Taylor was born to Dewey and Cindy Taylor and raised in southern West Virginia in 1990, his hometown is White Sulphur Springs, a small town in south east West Virginia.  Thomas’s Grandfather Kyle Taylor introduced traditional music to Thomas at a very young age, such as The Original Carter Family, as well as various other artists. His Grandfather played the Guitar, and the Autoharp. With his grandfather’s passing in 1996, Thomas didn’t get to learn to play from him. In the spring of 2002 Thomas and his family moved to another location in town, where he was introduced to Fred bolt whom had played music with his grandfather.  Fred started Thomas on the mandolin, after that Thomas took off with the guitar, banjo, autoharp, bass, dobro, lap steel, and piano.  He has a passion for traditional country music, artists such as Johnny Cash, Johnny Horton, Merle Haggard, and Hank Williams were his biggest inspirations. Thomas is married to Candice Taylor the two will celebrate their 8th wedding anniversary in July 2017, he has two brothers Scotty of Union WV, and Dewey of Lewisburg WV.
