Brothers Perkins
Brothers Perkins, a band started by none other than the brothers Perkins. Bobby Perkins writes and sings. Chris Perkins plays guitar, bass, writes, and sings. A project that started in 2003, we have been putting together and writing music together since.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
2003- Wrote a song together "Forever our Dad"
2004- Worked on a new song "The Void Between"
2005- Chris moved back to CA from PA giving us the freedom to create new songs.
2006- Songs are easy to write, now just need a band.
2007-?
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not quite yet, still looking for the perfect formula for band mates, but it will happen.
Your musical influences
Beatles, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Wu-Tang Clan, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Danzig, Sevendust, Nellie McKay, Busta Rhymes, Del the Funky Homosapien, Lowrider and Motown oldies, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and any other talent musicians.
What equipment do you use?
GNX3 digital workstation, Omega Lexicon Desktop studio, Gibson Explorer, Fender Jazz Bass, a couple of Ovations, Fender amp, a really shitty Compaq, CUBASE.
