Your musical influences
I grew up listening to my older sibling's music (late 60s and early 70s). My dad loved the Blues and old Country/Western (favorite was Johnny Cash). As a teen, I was mostly into heavy metal (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, OZZY, Black Sabbath, AC/DC (love them), Van Halen, etc. Then I moved into Pink Floyd, Oingo Boingo, Talking Heads, B-52s, etc. But, Hendrix and Led Zepplin both influenced me to start playing guitar. Through the years I have learned that I AM ALL ABOUT THE GROOVE!!!, so I am open to most music, if it grooves. I love blues, funk, 60s soul, heavy rock, garage, etc. The songs I write are a mixure of all my influences.What equipment do you use?
Fender Strat, Hamer Studio, Godin Radiator, Charvelle accoustic, Ibanez atk300 bass, Peavey Classic 50 4/10 amp, Peavey Classic 30, Ampeg Reverberocket, Fender M-80 bass amp, Bogen Ch18 (old Tube PA head), Crybaby Wah and various other effect pedals , Tama Swingstar drum set, Yamaha AW16G recording workstation, Behringer monitors, Shure sm57 mic, and a bunch of other stuff laying around.Anything else?
