Broken View started in the winter of 2002, with the original three members Jesse, John, and Carl. Jesse and Carl had been playing together for about two and a half years in a band, called Drisium. Carl left after numerous altercations with the bands lead singer and guitarist and Jesse soon followed shortly after. John left his band, Sixemeber about the same time that Jesse and Carl had left Drisium. John and Jesse had tried several times to start a band throughout the years, none of which came out successful. The three lost friends decided to come together and try once again for a hardcore screamo style experiene. But something was missing, two guitarists and a drummer was not enough. A bass player was needed. Jesse had mentioned the need of a bass player to Mike, an acquaintance he knew from eating breakfast at a local bagel shop. Mike mentioned that he played bass so he came down for a jam and rocked their world. The quartet ensemble was formed. With a few shows under their belt, and a full length album on the way, Broken View was on their way to the dream of being rock stars. With melodic guitars, hard pounding drums, unique stomache turning bass lines, and mind bending screams and vocal harmonies, Broken View is driven to succeed in the hardore scene.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live shows all over new Jersey for now and hope to get signed very soon so we can go touring around the world.
