Broken Presshead is the noise child of Geezar the Geezarian and Prof. Zodd. They are the static noise mongers who warp the boundries of music by combining elements of blues, rock, trip-hop and atmospheric ambiance into a unique and sometimes unlistenable form of music. For years now they have conducted experiments in noise minipulation and lo-fi Sludge Rock. Broken Presshead is also the propaganda machine for the Geezarian Nation, led by their ruler Geezar the Geezarian. His mission is to spread the rhetoric to all those who have their heads up their asses. The "Geezarian Rhetoric" concept is difficult to explain. Only the "Highest Grand Wizards" in the illumanati known as MENSA would understand. Their goal is to create Experimental Soundscapes for the open mind.
Band/artist history
Broken Presshead formed around 1996. Out of boredom Geezar and the Prof. decided to experiment in noise manipulation/deconstruction. Early Broken Presshead albums were recorded using nothing more than a guitar, fuzz box, a mic and recorded samples of albums, movies and tv. Recorded live in their friends livingroom, normaly wasted. Over the years they have acquired more gear and their albums have shown their creative genius growing. From the raw live mayhem of "Brazing the Shaft" to the underwater ambiance of "Organic Minimalism" they continue to evolve...and regress. In 1997 they created StaticMojo-106 Studios (http://staticmojo106.indiegroup.com). Using the same techniques to recorded their friends bands as well as side projects (Worst Case Scenario, GoatSuker& The Famous Dead Rappers to name a few). This is some For Real DIY one of a kind material. From ambiant blues to slug stomping nastyness they always keep you guessing what's gonna come next. for more info and free mp3's check http://brokenpresshead.iuma.com
