Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Brandon Broadway Robinson age 22 was born in Hickory, North Carolina. Before turning his focus to rap Broadway was an aspiring basketball player. While in high school, he would battle in the hallways during lunch with fellow rapper, friend and high school teammate Brandon B.I. Ikard. Upon graduation Broadway accepted an offer to attend North Carolina Central University to play basketball. While at Central Broadway became more interested in rapping and decided to leave NCCU to attend a Junior College closer to home. After two years of junior college he began to take the rap game seriously. He began recording freestyles over instrumentals and appeared on the Hky Anthem alongside of Hickorys Headliner B.I. for his In the Trunk Vol. 1 mix tape. Riding high off the success of his appearance on volume 1, Broadway recorded several freestyles "Like Dis, "What's Really Good, and "Ghetto 50 which all appeared on volume two along with a sample of his single Say Dat Money. He has collaborated with many of Hickorys top acts including B.I., Rod G, and Lil Sony most notable the Hky Anthem Platinum Edition which appears on In the Trunk P.E. He has also recorded the hits Smile Gotta K.I.M. and the club cranker Carolina Blue. Broadway, the self proclaimed Tar-Heel misfit is truly one of the top Young Gunners putting it down for the Tar Heel State.
