BRiKKA
I believe that music is something that comes from the heart, depending on the mood your in, at the time you wrote it. I don't know if many of you lived the street life, or not mearly lived in the ghetto, but went through though troubles in their life, well we did. Both born in Romania, Me and Mr. Boss saw the full side of the yet to fall communist society, that was at end of the 80's which was an experience only our generation endured, especially lack of hot water and the cut off of electricity in the evenings, or waiting from the early morning till the evending for a mere can of food. In the 1990's Romania's government was still the corrupt socialism, yet this time it was at the higher level of corruption, everyone could find food now, but this time they where dying because they didn't have the money to buy the food. Now it's a different story, all I can say is that the life we lived, will never be how it used to be before, we went through though times you could only find behind the projects in the Americas. Of course it wasen't as bad as the kid's in africa, but for a country which was in an economic boom bearly a decade before, it was an amazing collapse of the country.

Your musical influences
Mr. Boss stayed in Romania through the hard times that went on, me, I left Romania in the 90's and moved to Montreal, Canada. There I have seen things in different ways that I have before, life was different but not a dreamworld as most europeans think of america. when I was about 16 i moved to the Bay Area, here, you can see the west coast's differences, in people's attitude the non-stop working class citizens and the biggest hardships of life.
From my life's stories, from the many people I've met, and from those who I respect to those who I can't bare, I wrote my music, this is my inspiration, this is my life on a paper. In Bucharest we call them "Poems from the Streets".
Our music is for the masses, for those who think more than others, for those who believe life is just another route to take. One of the biggest things we learned in life is that you gotta be a little pervers to get what you need, just a LITTLE bit, that's how you can uncover people's real faces. Respect All my friends from Romania, those from Montreal and I didn't forget the USA, there's too many people to name, but you know we love you all.
Many musicians try to interpret life as money bitches and fame, well that's a big dose of what we call "bull fukin shit" a good example is the mediocre untalented 50 cent, if I wanted a story teller to rap for me, I'd choose him. Many others that wouldn't fit on the huge and still runnin shitlist. Of all the artist, respect 2pac, he did make it. eazy-e a real rappa from the streets, and I wanna say it still sounds better than what we hear nowadays on the radio, Kyrptik, the homie who taught me to put my rhymes just like I wanted, B.U.G. Mafia directly from bucharest along with "La Familia" and more, If I forgot you, ill add ya.
So we do it by 2pac's priciples,
"make it or break it"
Respect Those Who Respect.
and when respect is mutual,
it's not the same thing as being rich.
What equipment do you use?
