Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I primarly write for artist that do play live. I recall the first time I heard one of my songs covered by a live band. It was at a small nightclub in St.Louis, the band was missing the guitarist which was critical for the piece. I remember freaking out at first, fortunately, the keyboardist knew the part and improvised on her keys. She saved my sanity..the show went well.
Your musical influences
My influences are Babyface, Stevie Wonder, Rodney Jerkins, ect...My sound is smooth RnB, with some hip hop dance tracks. My style might appeal to Mya, Toni Braxton, Keshia Cole, Vivian Green, ect...
What equipment do you use?
I work with the Roland x60 and the primary roland Fantom. I use various other sounds to complete my work.
Anything else?
I love all types of music, I also write some rock and inspirational music. I do not like to stick with one style. I believe that a songwriter should explore different sounds, how else can you grow in your craft?
