You have some cool songs here, "What Wasn't" really hit home and I think with a little bit of fine tuning "Never Part of the Plan" could be a great song.

i'm so happy to have listened to your songs. i hope you have others on the go and i look forward to listening to them once they're posted.
here comes the specific feedback: i think that "just like all the rest" is the strongest song first of all because it has a great riff, but moreso because the lyrics, the rhythm, and the melody seem to work very naturally together -- almost as if you just sat down and the song came out of you without any premeditated thought. really nice!
meanwhile, i also really like "running on empty"; it has some really evocative images and lines. specifically, i love: the part about the person walking away so many times that you know the back of her better; the part about "deserve to be alone"; and MOST of all the line that ends with "hits the room like night" (or something like that...i've forgotten the exact wording).

end of the show is sounding great. i think the lead guitar is my favourite part. maybe try singing a little softer though ... sounds a bit forced. other than that - great addition!!

Yeah, I'm not sure about them either. I think I need to redo it. Maybe move the shakers to the back a bit and add some bongos?

On my Mind.... I really like the new guitar stuff you've added. The Shakers... I don't no... didn't seem to flow in some spots... maybe not have them throughout the whole song.. I love U Man !!
