Breachpoint is a young band from Norrköping in Sweden. We have played for about 3/4 of a year.Band/artist history
We all go to the same school (music-college in Norrköping) so we played together just for fun. Then Sebastian (our keyboardist) got us a gig in Söderköping, the last of april, where we played only covers. Then we had several gigs at school, where we also mainly played covers, meanwhile we rehearsed our own material. Then we had a gig again (in Söderköping) at a festival in the beginning of June. After that we had nowhere to rehearse so we wrote a lot of songs and participated in several music contests. So far we've been successful in all contests we attended.Have you performed in front of an audience?We mainly concentrated on making music in the beginning, then we applied for the contest "Rockkarusellen". It went good, we won the silver, out of 58 bands from the beginning. Still we can se a pattern of success (hehe) in other music competitions as well.
Your musical influences
We like to use the guitar as a steady ground, with either powerful dist or more abstract picking. Then we use the keyboard to fill out with, with sparkling strings and brilliant pianolines. The bass and the drums are an advanced complement to the guitars, with complex rythms.What equipment do you use?
