Heh, I haven't even learned to read music. Taught myself entirely by ear.

What equipment do you use?
I own two Yamaha PSRs: a 190 and a 530. Funny thing: both are discontinued, but they are both great keyboards. I use the 530 for my MIDIs. It's about as high as you can go in the low-end before things get flashy in an intimidating way.
