Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Brandon was born and raised in the small town of Santa Maria, California. At the age of 16 he realized his love for music and decided to pick up a guitar. Ever since hes been learning and playing different instruments and also recording his own songs, with the help of his step father/producer Mike Dean. He currently resides in North County San Diego, where he continues his knowledge in all aspects of music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Mostly, I play local cafe's, coffee shops, and the occasional party. I love playing for other people, especially if they enjoy the song as much as I do. Also, there is no greater rush than hearing the applause after a song, knowing the audience appreciates something you created.
Your musical influences
I love a lot of different types of music, ranging from classic rock to classical. Some bands that inspire me are Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jack Johnson, The Eagles, Sunnyday Realestate (now The Fire Theft).....just to name a few. If you know any of the bands I just mentioned, you know that some of them are very different from one another. But hey, that's what inspires me to write and record! I would have to say my music slightly resembles Jack Johnson, though I don't like comparing myself to others. I feel it's my music and I like to think it's unique.
What equipment do you use?
I love Tacoma guitars! But anything with 6 strings will do.
Anything else?
Please listen and tell me what you think. Drop me an email or post a message. If you want to be updated on new songs and concerts, join the mailing list.
Thanks for your time,
Brandon
I must give much thanks to my step-dad Mike....without his help and inspiration, I wouldn't have had the motivation to become a musician. And also, thanks to all that have supported me through the years and gave me the inspiration to write, you know who you are.
