Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Mike: Well the band started in Greg's (the bassist) garage, it consisted of him and myself. We wrote some weird instrumental songs for a laugh, then started making some real songs. Neither of us knew exactly what we wanted to do.
A few weeks later myself and Greg wanted to make a proper band, he knew a guy who could play drums called Alastair, we asked him to come to a practice sometime. He came along played 3 songs me and Greg had wrote... the band was born!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Mike: I live in Cwmbran, small place in South Wales, theres nothing here to do, no where to go.
The music scene is kind of sparse. I can't really say I like anything about the place.
Your musical influences
Mike: We're all fans of the Sacramento scene. Bands like Will Haven, Far and of course Deftones, but we all listen to a wide range of music, bands like Sonic Youth, Soungarden, Pixies, Alice in Chains and Faith no More have had some impact on myself and Greg. But as for influences, I guess we just play music that we want to hear, theres alot of the same old shit being played around our area. Not enough variety.
