It's finally his season!!!!!
Band/artist history
Bradley Johnson is a rare find in todayïs deceptive and fast paced world. Bradley is a singer, songwriter, producer, and arranger from Richmond, VA by way of Crewe, VA. But in the same breath, he is also a college student. Naming inspirations seemingly out of his generations recollection both in music and in life, like the multi talented Dorinda Clark-Cole and The Clark Sisters, Mr. Sam Cooke and the Soul Stirrers, J Moss, Smokie Norful, and Shirley Caesar it is undoubtedly obvious that Bradley has come up with a both anointed and winning formula to heal the world. Bradley grew up singing in the church choir, as many gospel greats do, of Macedonia Baptist Church in Burkeville, VA. From an early age Bradley has always had the gift to entertain. Since the age of 2 he has been acting and singing in various church and school plays, programs, and pageants. He has even earned notoriety on local television stations and in local newspapers for his anointed gifts. At the age of fifteen after forming and writing for an R&B singing group called 216, Bradley felt the anointed hand of God touch him and call him to lead people to Christ through music. ïI canït explain it, one day I was sitting in class after having a conversation with the leader of GMD (Godïs Mighty Disciples, a local Christian rap duo) and I felt God cleansing my blood, and I looked down and I felt like I had new hands and had become a new person. From that point on I knewï, said Bradley. Immediately after that awakening, Bradley ended his membership of 216 and joined GMD as their featured vocalist. As a member of GMD, Bradley did various shows around the area but left a year and a half later to pursue Godïs plan for his own individual ministry. He maintains that even though he left, they are both still a major part of each otherïs ministries and are still family. ïOne thing I want people to know about me is that I look at this (singing) as a ministry, and all I do is deliver to the world all that God has given me.ï, Bradley says, ï Iïm just the vessel not the living water.ï Currently Bradley attends Norfolk State University, in Norfolk, VA as he watches his ministry flourish. While attending NSU, Bradley wrote, produced, arranged, and executive produced his current mixtape album, North Star: The Mixtape Album. Bradley says, ïThis is something that God has been creating in me to do for a long time and I finally was pure, humble, and willing enough to just allow God to be God. As Bradley goes about cultivating this music ministry that God has given him, he is also humbly awaiting the time of the Lord when God will exalt a spoken word ministry for him to lead. For Bradley has always felt the anointing of the Lord for this, but now he has finally submitted his ego and fears to Godïs great plan. I just want to share with the world this message whether through song or word. Thatïs part of the reason why I made this a free album, so that I could just get the word of God out to the people without any type of hindrances.ï Bradley continues to go out and minister to various age groups throughout Virginia. He believes that in due time God will send the proper angels along to take the ministry he has been given to the next level, but he insist that everybody involved in the ministry must be right before God can exalt it. He says he would rather do it on his own than allow someone to come in and pollute this spiritual water. ïIt has to be right and it has to be pureï, Bradley interjects, ïif itïs not, the whole ministry will be in vain and I canït have that blood on my hands.ï A bright future is ahead for this young soldier for Christ if he continues to stay humble and allow his footsteps to be ordered in the Fatherïs Will. Be on the look out for a new voice, a new face, and a new anointed ministry!!!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes I do engagements where ever I'm invited, whether at churches, youth retreats, conferences, or special programs. The most special moment is the show I did the week before my album came out because I was introduced to the world and not only ministered to the people in the audience, but to myself as well.
