Bringin' you tha new West Coast sound of clever lyrics mixed with West Coast prodution. MC BQ and producer MikeSheist strive to blend underground and mainstream Westside rap while bringing a new vibe and representing for all tha "Cali Ricans".
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
BQ has been writing rhymes since 1995 and MikeSheist has been producing since 1997. He uses a Yamaha RS-7000 to lace tha sound for these underground classics. Tha music is recorded on Vegas and mastered on Cubase.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We do a few shows here and there, more will follow in 2005.
Your musical influences
BQ---2Pac, Crooked I, Kurupt, Yukmouth, Sly Boogy and Ras Kass. Skee-Lo's slept on 2nd LP is what motivated me to stop cursing in my raps.
