Botany Bay

Stephan Kleinert and Laura Dietrich form the nucleus of the Germany based Alternative Pop project "Botany Bay". Supported by an ever-changing cast of guests, Laura and Stephan spent the last few years recording their new album "Grounded", which was released in October 2007. Aiming towards creating a world of its own in their music, "Grounded" is an organic mixture of world music, experimental pop and rock, augmented with classical arrangements and concentraing on the piano as the main instrument.

We played an acoustic live set at the release party of our new album. We would love play live mor often, but since the both of us have quite stressful occupations, there's not really the time to do more events. At least not at the moment.
