A 23 year old Sheffield based producer of electronic music. BornX02 aims to produce creative, melodic and bouncy style tunes that ping pong around your brain and get your foot tapping. That, and to not sound like everyone else and their dog.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No, although I used to be the drummer in a band called Deadfall, the highlight of our career(!) was supporting Slapshot on stage and getting to play hardcore metal on a Friday night at an indie club!!
Your musical influences
Musically a lot of the Dutch stuff really gets me pumped. Freejack is the don of classy bouncy stuff. I really like trance with thought and a lot of beauty. It strikes me as modern day classical music, although like all genres of music can be made to sound very cliche.
What equipment do you use?
Vaz, Orion Pro, Ozone, whatever works and sounds good.
