Born Under Burden
Born Under Burden is a band focused first and foremost on, entertaining and challenging ourselves, and writing good music that we enjoy playing, as well as music that can be liked by listeners and other musicians alike. We all have pretty extensive musical backgrounds, and we all listen to pretty much the same bands, and have the same type of admiration for certain Genres.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Basically we are just five guys that have been in bigger bands from our area that got out of those bands in some way, and we formed a new band.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yeah we play live, in fact that's when we are at our best. Right now we're playing around Indianapolis,Indiana. I think any band likes playing out, there is something about the energy of a crowd...it's almost like a drug. Once you taste that energy and passion, you want more and more. You want bigger crowds, and you want more shows. There is always some kind of special moment during a show. Whether it's a fan, or it's a moment during a song that you and another band member catch eyes and feel the vibe.
Your musical influences
Well, it's alot of stuff really. Everything from TOOL - Deftones, from Mudvayne - Taproot, Faith No More - Alice In Chains, and so much more.
