Rich Willey has been leading bands called "Boptism" since 1985.
Band/artist history
Go to http://store.yahoo.com/boptismpublishing/richwilley1.html for more information.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We only play live. When you hear our recordings, it's all done the old-fashioned way: everybody in the studio at the same time, no splicing, no over-dubbing, just the way you'd hear us live.
Your musical influences
Here's a long interview of me that answers this question: http://abel.hive.no/trumpet/interview/willey/
What equipment do you use?
Only acoustic instruments, except when we do outdoor gigs where we there is no piano.
Anything else?
My group is a throwback to the 1950s. If you liked the jazz from that era, you'll like Boptism.
