Book Gee is President/CEO and member of the rap Label TrunkTight Records of AZ. He is also a profound beat maker and solo artist as well as the folder and member of the group D.A.P. (Da AZ Playaz). Produced songs for many popular local talent such as Adonis, JG, 2SICC, Cream, PHX CITY, BC (Been Cold), Raid, Casino, Nitty, Cavi, Phase One, Dj Dice, Leesa Vee, Row Row, LZ and MG. Formed the group 3-Fold and released 2 CD's with Tiny Tim. When members of the 3fold group split due to personal/legal problems of its members Book Gee started ventured out as a solo artist and earned many accolades and successes in his community. Book Gee and BC collaborated on the highly critical song No Hook which was written and produced by Book Gee. This song and consequence CD put TrunkTight Records of AZ On the map throughout AZ. Labeled as one of the best up and coming producers by hit song maker Adonis, Book Gee produced songs like Knockout Kang'd, Locsta, and most recently a string of hits with local talent such as Raid, Casino and R&B artist Leesa Vee (who he eventually signed to the label). I am now working with artist J Ball from SC and we have some blazing tracks on tap. Has appeared on tracks with the most respected rappers in Arizona : PHX CITY ENTERTAINMENT, DJ Private, Michael Carver and more. Book Gee often makes beats with a heavy jazz and R&B feel and delivers smooth lyrics to compliment funky beats has made Book Gee a staple in his community. He has resurfaced as a go to producer and master beat creator to help showcase Arizona and his personal talents and Style. An O.G. in the streets he is calm, collected and business savvy and hopes to re-emerge as a hit maker on a much broader scale.

TTR of AZ has been around since 1996. I've been into music since I was in the 4th grade. I've listened to everything from Stanley Turentine, Bob James and Eric Gale to the Eagles, Journey, Yes, Rush, Van Halen and then of course Earth Wind and Fire, Ojs, Gladys Night and Smokey, Stevie Wonder. I'm an old school cat so my taste are in this area. When I developed the label most of my beats were old school and really still are. Smooth etc. I formed 3-FOld with Tiny Tim, Cream, JG and we made a CD. Because of personal/legal troubles the group separated but Tiny Time and I continued to make music. He now goes by Been Cold. From us working together we both learned a lot about eachother and what directions that we'd excel. I love making music though my passion is Beats! Period! It what I do. I have taking the label from nothing to something with hard work but we aren't were we can/should be. When a label is self sufficent and able to sustain then you are getting some where. I enlisted the help of Casino, Raid, Q, TL and J Balla and they have really helped turned this into something special. Collabs with other artist around the country are a staple. I always facilitate the beats but the artist come with mad flow. We just want to make good music everyday we are in the studio. Though music production slowed because of personal issues on my side for a while I'm still on the grind. I'm more business minded now and I play the behind the scenes roll mainly. But I do have to make my solo cuts to fill the void! LOL

Every once in a while we'll play and pubs, parties etc. We really release CD's and music from within our studios because we collab with artist in other cities like South Carolina, Tucson and Philly. If I'm going to perform cuts I'd like everyone to be together. I do perform in Tempe AZ at times. I'm more of a producer now. Special Times? When I performed at Horizon High School. That was a treat because I had them all rocking and toe tappin. I was thank ful that the principal let me do that.

LOL

Protools Digi setup, Yami ES6, Rode and MX mics, tons of software and plugins. I have asecret weapon in my beat making component but I can't say what it is.
