J. Bonds (B is an up and coming artist born and raised in the streets of West Philadelphia. At the age of 12 Bonds began rapping at school lunch tables as most aspiring young talents get started in Philly. Through teenage eyes school seemed bleak and hustling became the better option. Dropped from West Philadelphia High School in the 10th grade Rap quickly took the back burner to street life. By the age of 18 a realization of the turmoil the street life can cause a family, with everybody he knew ending up in Jail or laid out in their own blood somewhere, Bonds who always kept his ear to music wanted more for his life. Bonds’ love for music and incredible talent to put an entire song together without the use of a pen and paper found himself back in the booth. with his cousins 2-Geez and Santoro by his side, the decision was made to do the rap thing together as a family and from that moment forward KNODOE was formed and Bonds never looked back. Bonds has since been a part of a mixtape titled “the apprentices” and his own solo project titled “Livin to Die”.
