Founded in 2006 Lost Child Federation set forth to make Palm Beach County the next capital of Hip Hop. The waves had shifted and it was time for Florida to take its place as the "Top Dog" as far as rap was concern. It sat and watched as New York, California, Georgia and just recently Texas stand in front of the line and take turns being the supreme state for hip hop artists. Not to say that Florida was a victim because what these states had that Florida didn't was the will to make sure everyone succeed. Unfortunately, in the sunshine state every artists tried to cast a shadow on the artists' shine for the moment. Instead of supporting our own, we criticized and simply put " hated" till the point that our Florida artists felt it necessary to leave the state becuase they felt there was no chance to make it here. But now the time has come and "the federation" has stepped up to the plate to take a piece of the "Three billion dollar a year industry".
Lost Child Federation was established February 1, 2006. The name was chosen to represent the many venues that are to be developed under the Lost Child Federation brand. For example along with the Music Division of the company there are also plans to begin a promotional company, real estate, fashion, and commercial distribution aspect of the company in future. Obviously these days everyone has a record label because it has become the thing to do but be assured that we realize the industry is 90% business and 10% talent.
Boi Soulja, FKA Nate Presendieu is the Co-CEO along with Berry Pierre of Lost Child Federation LC. The company is currently registered with ASCAP, SoundExchange, RIAA, and is in the process of registering its publishing company "We want every penny LC" with the Harry Fox Agency. Lost Child Federation is also in the process of trademarking both the name "Boi Soulja" and its logo. Nate is currently the only artist signed with with the company but as the business begins to become solidified the roster will increase. The first album out of the company will be Boi Soulja's Hustla at Work LP. The album features hit songs like "Camel Toe", "Prove It" and "Its all on You" with a majority of the production done by Mona Liisa Productions. The album will also feature production from "Joe Curtis". The "Hustla at Work" LP will be a classic and should easily place Boi Soulja among the elite in the Florida Hip Hop Scene. Both websites for Boi Soulja and Lost Child Federation are currently under construction but the networking on Myspace.com will not be left behind.
Obviously the Florida Underground Movement will not be possible if it were just up to one company. We have various DJ's, promoters and other artists in and out of Florida who are trying to come together and make this happen and we are sure that there will be many more to follow. Regardless of the name any movement that looks to make sure that Florida is being heard Lost Child Federation is behind 100%. To get in touch with the company: email us Lostchildfed@gmail.com
