Hello there I'm bod and I compose various songs for short british films and for other project, I combine all my skills as a musician and as a tech head to create various forms of music in the electro, dance , indie, chillout, big beat, trance, rock and hip hop fields. my music contains the following ingreediants energy, soul, groove,melodic and intensity, these are essential in order for me to compose my music.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Bod - aka = (Glenn Boddice) is a composer/songwriter who writes original material for other artists and for tv and radio commercials.
Glenn is 29 from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire,
Uk, he first started composing his own music in 2003, when he was asked to create the theme music for an independent film. This film was entitled "my name is Tony Baxter" ,the film reached audiences around the world in various film festivals.
This then encouraged "bod" to compose pieces of music for various projects. Originally a drummer/backing vocalist in an indie rock band, "bod"combines these skills into his energetic, hard hitting, rock steady music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
unfortunatly no, I write and record my music in my home studio so it's hard for me to take the show on the road.
Your musical influences
The Chemical Brothers, Kraftwerk , The Prodigy, Led Zeppelin and The Beastie Boys to name but a few bod also incorporates - ska, 80's grooves, 70's Disco, 90's pop, Northern Soul and 50's rock n roll
