I am a songwriter. When I sat down to write these songs. I knew I was older than the average songwriter I just figured that if I write the better song(just like the better mousetrap) people would beat a path to my doorstep. Well I did, but it hasn?t worked out that way. i'm hoping a band or artist will hear my songs and want to record and perfom them. i've tryed everything i can think of to place my songs with bands, but my songs just sit in a box, gathering dust. I have a blast at work. i meet people from all over the workd!I bring in my cd?s and when a tourist from a far away place visits my booth I'll strike up a conversation with them and then I?ll give them one of my cd?s to take home with them .if you could see their eyes light up. it makes my day.

it's tough to explain. sometimes i go to a place in my mind. where the songs create their own reality, and I can walk around in that place and see what words fit , hear which phrases click and just know what feels like it belongs there and what don't. all my focus is on writing them in my mind before i even pick up a pen.i'm still here doing my job or whatever but i'm allso there.

at work, i give my cd's out as gifts . and so far that's all i've done with my songs . people ask me , " bob, are you ever going to do anything with your songs ? " and i say, **? ? ? ? ? ? LIKE WHAT ? ? ? ? ? ? if i knew what to do, i'd be doing it.
