Every album I've made I've played with different people helping give a different sound.

Yes. It's probably easier than playing dead.

The singer songwriters. Leonard Cohen, Randy Newman, Paul Simon, Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen
What equipment do you use?
Acoustic guitar. People playing with me have used all kinds of technical stuff.
Anything else?
I also make up songs on the spur of the moment, either streams of consciousness or weaving in suggestions from the audience.
