Bobby Blount
Hey everyone!! Thanks for stopping by. This is where I'll be putting some of my solo work and some of my collaborative work. Right now I'm using it almost as a scratch pad. So if you've found this place and listened thinking "that's it?" there's more to come.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I'm in a band called the Carnaby Loafers that will be playing live very soon. You will not hear most of this material I'll be posting here in that band though. We play lots of fun British 60s stuff though. You get to hear my voice crack trying to sing Steve Marriot.
Your musical influences
Big Star, The Beatles, Jellyfish, Cheap Trick, Wilco, The Kinks, The Cars, Matthew Sweet, Costello, The Replacements, David Bowie, Grant Green, The White Stripes, Teenage Fanclub, Waylon Jennings, Miles Davis, Curtis Mayfield, John Prine, Johnny Cash, The Misfits, The Drive By Truckers, Prince, ELO, Brian Wilson, The Ramones, Old Motown and Stax, Elton John
What equipment do you use?

Amps: Tophat Club Royale, Fender blackface bassman head, Mesa Boogie Studio preamp, Fender HR Deville

Recording: Ramsa RT812 recording console, AT4040 large diapharagm condensor mic, SM 57s, for monitors I'm using KRK V6 powered monitors, and for software I'm using Cubase. My converter is a MOTU 2408 and the only other outboard gear right now in use is the FMR RNC compressor.
Anything else?
Hope you guys enjoy this place. I'm not sure if I'm going to fix it up and have it as a main music spot and try to be all competitive and get on the soundclick charts and all of that..sounds like a lot of work. So if not I'll just be here, and if you've searched my name, or found me on accident or whatever, have a listen, if you're interested feel free to email me.
Hell email me anyways, I love to chat. Unless you're a crazy clocktower type.
