I started playing in bands back in the 60s when I was 14. Through the years this led down many different paths... R&B (it was called "soul music" back then), blues, rock, a little jazz with lots of funk thrown in. It was a wonderful time in my life and I wouldn't change a thing, but let's just say "I'm glad I survived".
Anyway, in 1981, I quit performing, and left the music aspect of my life behind. There were times when the void in my life was overwhelming, but I moved on. I rarely picked up my guitar for over 20 years, but the sounds were still in my head trying to get out.
I'm still working on getting my guitar 'chops' back to respectability, for me this is the hardest part. We aren't as young as we once were... "Rust Never Sleeps".
My only need at the moment is more time to work on my projects. I'm just a 'workin' stiff' these days, so there just aren't enough hours in the day.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I haven't played live in a long time. Right now I don't have any plans of that changing, but "never say never".
Anything else?
