BlueRick
BlueRick is the performing name of Rick Solomon. He has played and sung since childhood. A multi-instrumentalist, Rick has headlined and fronted many bands, and has worked frequently as an on-call studio musician.
Recently performing under the names BlueRick, TrublueRick, and BluRick, Rick Solomon has been a featured solo performer at several Blues clubs, guitar shows and expos, and street fairs in the local NYC metropolitan area.
Rick writes, composes, performs, records, and markets his own original style of blues.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I'm primarily a solo artist; a songwriter, musician, vocalist, performer, and recording musician, I have had the privilege of working with many fine bands and artists during my career and look forward to doing more of the same.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play street fairs and clubs as well as studio...mine and others
Your musical influences
I like to think that I was inspired primarily by the Beatles and Bob Dylan. But I know that anything I've ever heard that I liked has served as something to aspire to.
What equipment do you use?
A variety of acoustic and electric guitars and studio gear.
Anything else?
My imagination and willingness to experiment to get the sounds I want and need.
