Band/artist history
We're a family band founded in 2009. There are four of us, and the kids are happy to have their mom playing bass. She's like a diesel tractor back there!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yep, just about any chance we can get. We like all the bluegrass festivals, roots music venues, private parties, or just on the front porch.
Your musical influences
Music has been our main influence. But we like all the good stuff. Mostly old folk tunes and some originals. Anything with feeling and emotion -- fast or slow.
What equipment do you use?
Martin & Collings. Rich & Taylor banjo. When we play a gig, sometimes they need rental equipment to get the mess cleaned up. Clamps and glue to fix furniture and stuff like that :)
Anything else?
We play for the love of music, and love to share it with others. It is fun to dig up and old song and play it a new way. Every song has a story -- sort of like taking a trip without all the hassle of luggage and airfare!
