BLOOD FAM
Brothers, Loyalty, Order, Obedience, and Discipline. Three young brothers from New Orleans, LA have adopted this as not only a group name, but also as a lifestyle. The name B.L.O.O.D. at first draws questions and speculations. The group feel to believe while good for attention, it teaches people to sometimes look deeper than just what you see. The group was raised in a single parent household and ran the streets as the majority of our inner city youth tend to given the circumstances. In fact, it took for the worst natural disaster in the United States history to really open there eyes and help them focus on a better life. They didn't leave the city before the water rushed in. They stayed and witnessed the true horrors the news didn't tell you, but they'll speak on that when the time is right. The group consist of GeneAG, Victor Maytlin, and Young Shype. Each member of the group is two years apart in age and bring a different swagger to the groups music. They have performed in several different clubs state to state including Louisiana, Mississippi, & Georgia. Some of the different clubs include, but are not limited to the following: Zodiac, House of Blues, 20 Grand, The Atrium and The Pool Palace. The group's mixtape intitled "Southside G'z Up" has a total of 22 songs. 15 of the songs on the mixtape were recorded within two days out of the Tara Inn & Suites Hotel Meeting Room. This isn't your usual mixtape with DJ's spinning songs, shout outs, and just previews of album material. The group have released 19 full length songs and 3 skits which were used as a way to introduce each different artist seperatly. The groups work ethic is undeniable pushing hundreds of CD's out of a bookbag by themselves. There latest performance at Clark Atlanta University, "Showtime at the A.U.C." earned the recognition from some very respectable people in the music business such as Small World of D.T.P. Records, Crack of CrackTracks Production, and J Nicks and E.T. of the Durrty Boyz with Hot 107.9. The mixtape Southside G'z Up is just a demonstration of the groups capability's in the game. Not only are they powerful as a unit, but each artist is well equiped and prepared to be successful on solo projects as well. The group has about 52 songs on stash for future projects. Also, they have done there homework on filling up notepads and computer floppy disk with material that has yet to be recorded. B.L.O.O.D. is more than capable of producing fresh material with a different sound for each song. The future of the Hip-Hop game starts with B.L.O.O.D. and ends with Family.
