Blondenfreude was formed in early 2005. Zoe (of 'Sunshine on a Rainy Day' fame) found guitarist, Tracy playing at a local gig and saw that he had the driving sound she was looking for as a basis for her new material. Next in the line up was Martin, an amazing bassist and electronic wizard. Blondenfreude was born.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We are gearing up to play live very soon. Just finishing the album off at the moment and then we'll start with a few local gigs before branching out to a town near you.
Your musical influences
Our influences are very wide. These come from all of the band members:
The Rolling Stones, The Ramones, Bob Dylan, Iggy Pop, Patti Smith, The Kills, PJ Harvey, Kate Bush, New York Dools, Lou Reed, to name a few.
What equipment do you use?
All of the electronic things in our music are programmed on Martin's Mac with Logic.

I have been directed to the link of your web site to a new band called, BLONDENFREUDE, that features Zoe Pollock, whose SUNSHINE ON A RAINY DAY was a hit over here.
