Bleeding Heart's Melody is Tim Bouchard, from Buffalo, NY. Tim is influenced musically by many acts such as Dashboard Confessional, Remember Maine, The Lindsay Diaries, and The Spill Canvas, but pulls a lot of his lyrical stylings from hardcore music and bands such as Thursday, Thrice, The Hope Conspiracy, and From Autumn To Ashes to name a few. BHM has released two EPs on MS Records and recorded the first Full-Length in December 2003 and released it on the new MS Records, Careworn Records in April 2004.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Tim formerly was head of a local Western, NY band Curbside All-Stars which had great success on mp3.com before splitting into BHM and The Hudson. All of his bands were created out of the shadow of local music heroes The Down-to-Earth Approach now on Vagrant Records. With local influences like them it wasn't hard to stay focused on making good music and keeping the scene alive.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Tim plays locally in Western, NY until he graduates college. Until then he'll be recording and writing and playing in the Northeast.
