All About Us: We are an Up and Coming Record Company out of the state of Va. We strive for excellence in every aspect of our music, from the basic creation, to the concept, to the words. We are out to set the record straight about Va Hip Hop. Va in a Melting pot of talent. People from all over come here because this is mostly a military state. Every one of the artists on our label is from elsewhere and found their way here. The Company consists of CEO/Head Producer Rodney “ADL” Harrison, Co-CEO Jason “JaConn” Conner (who is also one of our artists) , Our Artists : Spanish a.k.a. A-Mega & Lt. Swil. Last but not least our other producer Naypalm.  How we got started and why? Our company was born when we all decide to pool our talents and resources. We all had musical careers previously and became unsatisfied with the status of the music biz. We at Blazed In Da Booth Records believe that the industry is in a state of emergency. A lot of the artist of today are more like copycats, always just doing what is out at the time, because they are afraid to take the timeout to try to create something fresh and new. At South North we tend to stray a little from the norm. We intend to break the monotony of the same sound and style of the music of today by continuing to do a variety of styles.  What moves we have made so far and what we are doing now in the biz? Everyone here at Blazed In Da Booth Records has played their part in developing one of the illest Mixtapes this year, the “V’s up, A’s down” Mixtape that comes with a promotional DVD entitled “Badnewz Chronicles”. We are currently working on JaConn’s CD Due Later this summer. We feel that the music of today is lacking in originality and creativity, most of the artist are basically clones of the top artists in the business at the time. We keep the true essence of hip hop to chose from. Versatility is the key to doing music outside of just hip hop and R&B.  Where we plan to be with our careers in the next year and how we plan on getting there? At the rate we’re going, if we continue the route that we on, We’ll be one of the most wanted companies in the industry in just a few years. Simply by keeping the name in the streets, rubbing elbows with other industry elites, and producing high quality music.
