As you learn the science of composition you will develope a better a ear for melody and not so much beat. A little more instrumentation and a little less 808 with really hep you discover the beauty of different instruments period and how it can open up your range beyond the urban sound. Also it will help you develope an ear for engineering the art of eq and mixing. Overall with time you will get better listen to more music outside of your genre and it will really open you up to new sound. Good luck to you in the future and continue to get better and develope
