Blakkstorm
Blakkstorm is a one-man black metal project, done with very raw guitar recording and keyboard, with percussion and background sounds made on FruityLoops. The music is meant to convey images of the cold and harsh North Ontario winter, thus the album name Pale Boreal Wastelands.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Blakkstorm started recording its own music late into a cold November eve, a one-man project outside of Blakkstorm's original band Dwimorberg. Nothing else has happened since, there are several tracks for the album "Pale Boreal Wastelands" done, and some more in production, and will hopefully be completed sometime in December.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Nah no live shows, probably never will be.
Your musical influences
Influences include Dimmu Borgir, Arcturus, Immortal, Amon Amarth and Nargaroth.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha PSR-6 Keyboard, computer microphone (yeah, the kind you use to chat on MSN), and FruityLoops Studio 4. Dell Dimension Desktop 4700. Some sort of BC Rich borrowed from my buddy Matt.
