Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Blackwater 72 is my own projectThis project is to satisfy my own passion for creating music. Since it's just me and sometimes my longtime bass playing buddy there are no constraints as to where the music can go.
This project is just for the pure fun of creating music.
Your musical influences
I grew up cutting my musical teeth in the late '70s early '80s on bands like Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, UFO, Robin Trower, Iron Maiden and Saxon. Yes I'm hard rock, though I hate to use the term, Heavy metal fan.
What equipment do you use?
Guitars: 2 Jackson DK-1 models, one the '96 Tobacco burst quilted top with Duncan PAF the other '97 blue/green with Iommi humbucker , last but not least the "Swamp Rat" Frankencaster - swamp ash strat body with Jackson neck and Duncan distortion pick-up.
Bass: was made by my buddy, swamp ash jazz body with duncan jazz pick up.
