Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Blackson Recording is partnered up with Boomtap Productions. We have been at this for years but mostly doing enough to buy all the gear and software. Okay, we were too chicken to step out on our own [laughing]! But both entities are ran by guys that have been at the game for years. Can you here in the mix? I know you could.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Haven't in years... been stuck in the lab creating tracks for myself and others on the local indie scene!
Your musical influences
My influences run like I copied the bio from the Neptunes. I like all music, really! I do all music, really! From rap to Rnb to alternative rock (Linkin Park). You can never tell what the next track will be until it's finished. Theres always an artist available.
What equipment do you use?
Everything is done in the PC. I use everything software. Sold all outboard gear. Saves electricity and no wires.
