Formed in 1991 in Chico,California,BLACK SLAX is a powerful trio that covers a wide range of traditional American music including Blues, Rockin'Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Blues, Rockabilly,and Rock & Roll with selections ranging from the 50's to present day and original songs as well. A surfin' Ventures type medley, Rockabilly medley, Jimi Hendrix medley, a Rockin'Blues set, drivin' Bluesrock sets are examples of highlights that really bring listeners to their feet! Guitarists Rick Bernasconi glides easily from one style to the next while the driving force of Johnny Rod on Bass & Dave Lynch on Drums keep a solid rhythm. Creating an atmosphere of excitement and guaranteed to please even the most critical of audiences with their wireless guitars, jumping off stage, their showmanship, professional "STEREO" sound with stage lighting & effects, you're in for one great show !!!
