Black Hood
This group consist of 5 members. They are Platnam; the General, Golden Child; the Angel of Light, John Twist Ops, Lord Midas and Infinity; the First Lady. This is the group that is taking North Carolina by storm.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Black Hood was put to life in the year 1994. Cosisting of the members Platnam, Golden child and John Twist Ops. These 3 members started performing in a number of various places locally. The crowds loved them and always looked for more from them. Though they were still not complete as a group. In the summer of 2000 a fourth member was added to the roster. They brought to light Lord Midas. This member unleashed a southern grimmey sound that just made the group cause pure havoc. There was a sound that was just undescibable. Once again something was still missing. In the winter of 2000 the fifth and final member was added. This time it was something completely diffrent. Now being added to the line up was Infinity. Here was a female who was said to have more balls than any man could have. A voice and style that could not be touched. From then the five points of the star were connected. And now formed a Tightly woven family and crew for life.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Black Hood lives to perform. Opening for Now city in Raliegh, NC in the summer of 2001. Blazing the annual Family Day hosted by the F.O.I. in Reidsville, NC. Going on to blow out the walls of The Matrix in Charlotte, NC. And snatching wins in numerous showcases in Greensboro, NC. The illest was steeling the show from a certain signed group in a Greensboro, NC club.
