Biography:
From childhood growing up in Alabama, B.K. Minor started singing for the Lord. Her mother and older sister sang with her as a trio for many years. They were known as the Ward Family. She recalls the fun spent at all-day singings with what was called "dinner on the ground," and revival and camp meetings throughout the years where they sang their gospel music. Her Father and Mother taught her to love the people and the music of their Southern culture, but more importantly, they taught her to love God. Every Sunday morning she remembers how as the family got ready to go to church her father would have the radio playing so everyone heard southern gospel quartets singing over the airwaves. B.K. learned every single word to every single song they would sing. She loved the music and it took root in her character where it has remained over time. She still enjoys the songs of the Statesmen Quartet, the Blackwood Brothers, the Oakridge Boys, the Cathedrals, and so many others.
Currently, she is a member of the Christian Country Music Association and promoted through HMG-Nashville, an entity of this fantastic organization. You can view their information via www.PowerSourceMusic.com and see her releases. Her single "Gospel Train" rated high at the time of Josh Turner's "Long Black Train." Other songs "Feelin' Some Heaven on Earth, and "Have I Told You Lately" charted on both Christian Country and Country Gospel charts. Radio stations all across the country are playing her music.

She has a Bachelor's degree in English Education and is presently finishing her Master's degree in psychology.
