Bizzy's style is influenced by Legendary Fela Kuti, Bob Marley , tupac and R kelly . Self-described as "atmospheric hip hop," the waters through which these songs tread run much deeper than that. A new style of urban hip hop with a smooth flow, and inspiring lyrics over rhythmically charged beats all brought together by intensely catchy hooks.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
BIzzy's initial singing inspiration came from attending Seminary school, where singing was compulsory . As a child Bizzy moved all over eastern and western Nigeria, living in areas which are exposed to musical talents . The exposure to these musical backgrounds would provide Bizzy with a richer, more soulful vocal approach to a Hiphop rhythm track than many of his contemporaries. It was at secondary school where Bizzy's thoughtfulness and philosophical nature led to the acquisition of the nickname Bizzy because he was always busy all the time ; Young Bizzy sang at school, at home, at church and for his friends and wherever he sang, he was encouraged to pursue his craft professionally.
The first producer Bizzy recorded for was Jokaynie . Bizzy voiced five original songs for Jokaynie, but the one that caught the public's attention was his cover version of Fela Kuti's song African woman . "When I first started out, I got so frustrated, because you carry original material to the studio and at the end ,the production don't sound out. The second producer that Bizzy worked with is Mekoyo . Bizzy worked on two Original songs with mekoyo namely Fine Lady and Mama No cry .
I just want to do good songs," Bizzy concludes. "I'm Representing the African Hiphop and adding my creative flow to it because I want people to know that Bizzy is not limited. I'm just promoting myself and hoping to get a record deal so I can go out there now and really represent myself." check out the songs at www.cdbaby.com/bizzymusic
