Bit on the Side
Bit on the Side are Geoff Rodgers and Tim Mundy, two unrepentant folkies, although only one of us has a beard, and we don't wear aran sweaters. We play an odd mix of our own songs, traditional songs and tunes, contemporary acoustic music, blues, ragtime and the odd rock song for good measure. We have been known to drink real ale upon occasion.
Band/artist history
Geoff Rodgers & Tim Mundy are 'Bit on the Side'
We met playing in a great session on Monday nights at the Wilkes Head in Leek about six years ago. During a visit to Fylde Guitars in Cumbria in early 2004 we sat in a pub waiting for Geoff's instruments to have pickups fitted. We were playing a few songs and tunes, and we attracted quite a crowd. So we thought 'why not?', and Bit on the Side was born!
Our live set includes everything from traditional songs and tunes to contemporary songs and self penned numbers. Overall it's a folky sound, but lively and fun.

I End up Drinking alone was the first tune of yours I ran into, but I like the others as well.
